Meet Debbie & Jason,
Our Wedding Team
With over twenty years experience, Debbie has created and brought to life over two thousand clients’ visions. From “High Noon White Tie Affairs” to “Rustic” Wedding Ceremonies and Receptions, Debbie Wayland of DW Fine Events has impressed the most discerning clients and their guests. Starting her career in Richmond, Virginia, she worked with some of the best vendors to train and learn all aspects of the event industry. Debbie created and executed successful social and political events , gaining her an excellent reputation which led her to being recognized as “The Best Wedding Planner” in Richmond. Relocating with her family in 2007, she again started her own company and took the Eastern Shore by storm. Winning many awards such as The Coastal Style “Best Wedding Planner” in 2014, 2015 and 2016, the community has embraced her professionalism and creativity.
Chef Jason Bostaph began working in the restaurant industry in 1996 at the age of 15. Since then he has cooked in over a dozen restaurants and hotels in Delaware, Maryland & Pennsylvania. He owned and operated Buntings Popcorn Station on Garfield PKWY in Bethany Beach from 1999- 2002 before selling the business to attend Culinary School at Pennsylvania Culinary Institute in Pittsburgh. He graduated in 2004 and with his degree he worked in several Chef positions honing his skills in Delaware before accepting the Executive Chef position at both the Addy Sea Bed & Breakfast and the Café 26 in 2010.
In 2013, he was awarded “Best Chef” from Coastal Style Magazine. In 2015, he was awarded the “Culinary Genius” title for the northeast region in a nationwide competition for Food Fanatics Magazine as well as taking 1st place in the Battle at the Beach Cook-off, benefitting Meals on Wheels.
In 2017, Café 26 was awarded “Best American Restaurant Downstate” from Delaware Today. In 2018, Café 26 became the first restaurant in the history of that publication to be nominated for five “Best Of” categories including: “Best Chef”, “Best American Restaurant”, “Best Restaurant Downstate”, “Best Restaurant in Ocean View, Delaware” and “Best Romantic Restaurant”.
In 2018, he passed the Executive Chef position to Chef Donna Shea in order to focus completely on weddings and events at the Addy Sea Bed & Breakfast.
Since 2010, Chef Bostaph’s recipes and interviews have been published in Coastal Point, Cape Gazette, Delaware Today, The Washington Post, Coastal Style, The Metropolitan Magazine, Delaware Seaside Bride, Beach Life and others.
Addy Sea is situated on the ocean front in the quiet town of Bethany Beach. Our clients can choose from having their event on the ocean front lawn overlooking the Atlantic dunes or on the newly replenished sandy beach. The Inn can accommodate up to 120 guests depending on clients choice of menu and services. In Season Minimum Food and Beverage cost is $10,000.
When you choose Addy Sea, the following are included in our Event Rental Fee:
- Thirteen guests room accommodations on the day of event.
- Full service event planner
- White Ceremony chairs and arch for our garden ceremony
- Wedding Cake or Sweets from Sweet Disposition Bakery
- Reception Tables, chairs and linens.
- Complete and Professional Service from setup to breakdown.
- Gourmet Breakfast on each day of Inn rental for in-house guests.
- Tenting is additional and should be planned with our event planner and Coastal Rentals.

Friday night rooms must be rented for all weddings. Sunday nights are also available. Both nights are offered at discounted rates. Please chat with our Event Planner for information.
Catering & Reception Details
The Addy Sea has an in-house Executive Chef who will work with you to create a menu that will inspire your palate. Whether you want a Casual Feast with Locally Steamed Crabs or Fine Dining, our Chef will deliver a regalement to remember.
Menus start at $160 and fluctuate with event timing and menu choices.
Included in the per plate cost is a full bar with Clients choice of beverages
